Our Bespoke buildings Vs Other Brands
Website
The other brands offer fantastic website with online calculators so you can see your garden room being designed and the prices update automatically. However, we offer free home visits, where we survey your space and talk through options in person. We then send your bespoke quotation to you within a few days. The advantage to this is you’re unlikely to have hidden extras as we have discussed your requirements when meeting.
Frame and Structure
The other brands use a modular system which allows them to build off site in bulk, this is ok if you require a basic build in a standard size. But it doesn’t always make the best use of the space available in your garden. We can make your garden room to any size and make it fit into unusual spaces, making it truly bespoke and using your space to its maximum potential. If you would like the space to incorporate a hot tub or something else we can work around that.
Insulation
Some brands use rockwool mineral wool insulation. We use a higher performance insulation, which is around three times as effective as wool insulation, meaning to match our insulation their walls would have to be at least 170mm deep. This means our bespoke buildings are super insulated and hold temperature.
Choice of Finish
The leading brands have limited choices with finishes. We can install to whatever finish you require. This includes windows, doors, flooring, cladding and electrics.
Electrics
The other brands do not include getting electric from your house to your garden room, they would charge a hidden extra for this but we would include this cost within your quotation as standard.
Heating
We can offer bespoke heating and cooling to meet your requirements. The other brands just offer an oil filled radiator.
Interior Finish
They finish to a white melamine finish. This is difficult to customise to your preferred colour etc. We offer all our spaces to a plastered finish with the option for us to decorate for you too, with any finish you would like.

Our Bespoke Specification
Once we’ve done a full site survey, we will design your garden room to the highest specifications.
All our buildings are EPC A rated.
We install ground screws if appropriate, then build the subfloor using 150mm structure timbers, which gets insulated with 100mm solid insulation board like celotex, then the walls get constructed, using 100mm structural framing timber this gets covered in osb board to add to the strength then covered in a breathable membrane ready for cladding of your choice.
The roof is constructed with 150mm structural timber and covered with EDPM Roof membrane which has a 25 year guarantee. This is also fully insulated.
Windows and doors are the latest standard double glazed, the same standard as in a new build house, to suit your style and design.
Electric installation will be included with full connection to your house, internal and external lights come as standard and internal sockets too. We install a cat6 point as standard to ensure you get the highest internet speed possible and a Wi-Fi point.
The Finish
All our buildings come plastered finish ready for decorations as standard, with a choice of flooring and skirting boards. Decoration can be provided as an additional extra.
